Christmas

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas.  We had a very Merry Christmas here at home.  We never did much on Christmas day being we opened our gifts on Thursday nigh.

Sabbath School Christmas party

I don't have much time but I thought I would quick put some pictures on of our Sabbath School party.  We had the kids from our church come to our house for a snowmobiling party.  We played out side of a while and sat by our campfire and roasted s'mores.  We ate supper in the evening, and opened our gifts and played some games in the bunk house.

Bowling

Monday night our family went to the Eurika bowling ally to watch the Vikings vs. Bears football game.  Being we have some pretty die-hard Vikings fans in our house we really wanted to see the game.  It didn't really turn out how we wanted it to, but.  At 1/2 time we started to bowl a game,  Paul amazed us all!  He did really well he bowled his best game ever!  Jody bowled her best game too!  We had an amazing time.  Everyone was pretty pumped about their scores (except me,  Everyone had one of their best games except me.  I kinda decided to take pictures instead of bowl.)  Tabby surprised us all with 2 strikes in the last frame.

Kids Club

I was going through pictures and found these and thought I would share them with you to show how God is leading in our kids club.  Our church kids club has grown over the last 2 years.  Before it was our family and Paul's friend Josh and we were the only kids in our church.  Then after being blessed with a large group of  VBS kids we sent out invitations to them all to join us in our kids club.  Now we have right at 23 kids! 

 Being  Jody and I only had 1 more year of Pathfinders left we got promoted to the Eager Beaver leaders.  Eager Beavers is the group of 3 to 5 year olds.  We normally have around 4 little boys and Girls. 

Gerry is our Pastor's wife.  Gerry is such a big help to Jody and I. 
Even though Jody and I miss being Pathfinders we love working with the little kids.  It is so rewarding to be there when they get so into what their doing.  You feel so proud right long with them when they do something they've never done or they learn something new.  Last week we did the Jigsaw Puzzle Eager Beaver Chip
 We love our Eager Beaver group very much.  Each kid is special in their own way.
 There are 3 buses that drop kids off after school so they can come to our kids club.
 Mom teaches the Pathfinders which is kids from ages 10 to 16.  This last week Mom taught them to make a whistle out of PVC pipe.
Doreen a lady from our church teaches the Adventures kids ages 6 to 9.

 Mom is one of the best teachers ever!  She has always done such a great job even on short notice.
We Pray that we can help each kid in their walk toward the kingdom.

4-H bowling party

This last Sunday we had our 4-H Christmas bowling party!  We had a Great time and a few of us bowled our highest games ever.

This last week Tuesday Dad, Paul, and I (Mindy) made a quick trip to Montana to pick up some breed cows.  We got to Belgrade at about 5:30 p.m. and then spent the evening with the VanDyks.  On Wednesday morning we had the cows loaded by 9:45 a.m. and we were on our way home again.  Paul One of the hired hands from the ranch fallowed us back home with the other load of cows.


 We were blessed with safe travels and good roads.  Everything went nice and smooth.

 Paul felt a little crazy after traveling about 1350 miles in less then 45 hours.  We enjoyed the trip but we were glad to be home again.
 This is the Hotel we stayed at Tuesday night when we got there.
 I haven't been to Montana sence I was little.  I enjoyed just sitting and looking out the window.  The country was so diffrent from around here, There aren't any mountains and or trees around here and so it was a nice little trip to see all the prettyness of Montana.

Smowmobile fun

Guess what we got to do today????????  You guessed it, we got to snowmobile for the first time this year.  There isn't too much snow so we never pulled the big tube but we did pull some small sleds.  We had a blast! 
We snowmobiled for 2 1/2 hrs. 










 And yes we had a few wipe outs!!!!!!
