Leaving for GYC

Today Jody, Janae, and I are all leaving for GYC (Generation of Youth for Christ)!  Last year at this time Tabby and 3 friends were in Baltimore, Maryland for this same youth conference.

GYC is a youth conference for Adventist youth all over North America and all over the world.  There are 5 days of seminars, classes, group activity's, and fellowship.  The theme this year is FILL ME, OUR EARNEST PLEA!
It's being held in Houston, Texas this year.  We would appreciate all your prayers for safe travels.  We are leaving with a suburban load of 8 kids from the Dakotas today. ( Mindy, Jody, Janae, Esther, Josiah, Logan, Zack, and Daniel)
There are going to be 4,500 to 5,000 youth from 13 to 35 years old.  We are all really excited to receive a blessing!

Flemmer Christmas

Last night we had our Flemmer family get together.  It was lots of fun even though 7 random family members weren't able to make it.  We had lots of fun spending time together, eating special Holiday food, playing games and singing together.

We had sun down worship together to start the evening.
Each of the Flemmer siblings brought something to add to the evening.
Tami went first and she read her little story.  But when she was done she turned her computer around and who was there?  Tabby was there and we video skyped with her for quite a while.  It was a lot of fun.  She got passed around the whole circle and everyone said hi!

It was so cute!  Savanah and Leyton acted out the Christmas story.
We had a big burrito supper.
Not to mention all the Christmas treats!

There were all kinds of games going on all around the house.
Then when we were all leaving we sang some good old songs together to say good bye.

It was so much fun spending time with family.
For God so loved the world that he gave His only son.  John 3:16

P.S. To all the family who couldn't make it we missed you.

The old Popper and 4020

The other afternoon I looked out the window and what did I see?  Dad and Jody had the old 'Popper' out and was pulling it to start it.  We took the 7020 and the Popper down to a guy to get them fixed up.  It was kind of amazing.  We haven't started it for about 3 years but we got it out and after pulling it for awhile it started right up.  It was kind of exciting!

Holiday baskets

Ever year our church ladies make food baskets for all the elderly and single people around Lehr. Then when our kids came for kids club we all got bundled up and went house to house, handing out baskets full of goodies and singing for them. It's was only about 10-15 degrees but all of the kids handled it really well.:).

Sorry it kind of scrambled the pictures when it took them off my iPod so they aren't in order:(

Pole Barn

I know some of you have been wanting to see some pictures of the new pole barn we are putting up.  These are from the first few days.  It looks quite a bit different now.  They are putting up tin now and have all the rafters up even.  I feel sorry for Tom and Lenard though they have to be a little cold while they work on it.  It has been pretty cold around here.  Last night it got to -12.

Hoarfrost

This morning when we woke up there was beautiful hoarfrost all over and the sun was shining bright! I love to wake-up and look at all the beauty God puts around us just to say I'm here, I'm still looking out for you, and I love you more than you can imagine.
