One long post

Sorry! I have really slacked up on blogging lately so here is a long blog of what we've been doing the last few days.  There has been a lot going on and with all the field work and all the cattle moving it was been awhile.

First of all there were some Beautiful sunsets

We made some rockets at the areo space camp but it was too muddy to shoot them off so we brought them home and did them on the back lawn.

We planted flowers at church with the church ladies.  It is always fun to get together with friends and work.
There were so many pretty flowers!

Them when we got home we planted some flowers in front of the shed.
This weekend was an exciting and fun one.  We had lots of friends around and enjoyed good company.  To make a storey short Brooklyn Englehart our cousin got to come down Friday and the Sunday came and we got to go back up to Bismarck and help with the flooding till today ( Tuesday ).  We started by putting a sump pump in my Aunt's house the first night and then Monday morning we went sand bagging.  It was a totally new experience for us.  It was so amazing how every one was working together and helping each other.  It was like everyone know everyone and anybody was ready to dig in and help to save a stranger's house.  The team work was amazing.  About 5 guys from our church family up there and my Aunt and Cousins and us 3 girls made up a team.  We worked on sandbagging a church member's house.  We made about 3 loads of sand bags ( A load consisted of a flat bed full and 2 pickup truck boxes full ).  It was an amazing experience and I would like to do it again.
Jody's demonstration on how to Rope.

Then Tuesday Mom came up and picked us up so we could go and do our 4-H communication arts speech competition.  We have been doing for about 8 years now and it helps your public speaking a lot
At Auntie's house we used her Cricut cutter to make our poster boards.
I did a demonstration on how to braid hair 4 different ways
Paul did a illustrated talk on the Roman centurion.  He did a good job.

He also did a movie on legos.

Flag football

Yesterday some neighbor kids came over for the evening to play.  It is always fun to play with Ebels.  We had tons of fun playing flag football.  With 2 family's and 11 kid  there are quite a few of us when we want to get together and play.  One of Paul's friends Bready was here too.

5-15-11

All of our colts are growing like crazy!  They have so much spunky and are so cute.  Paul's and mine (Mindy) are 2 weeks old today and tomorrow Jody's will be 2 weeks too.

Our bottle lambs are getting bigger all the time.  They are so mischievous.

A week ago Thursday we had a cow that had a set of twins.  They were both ok but one was just tiny.  We have him as a bottle calf now.  He is so cute but he is only the size of our bottle lambs.  He fits right in with the lambs.  He lives with them and I kind of think that he even thinks he's one of them.
