It's Here !!!!!!!

For those of you who might not know what this post is about *?* It's for Tabby.  She posted on her blog when she sent it, and was a little worried it might not make it because of what she had to go through at the post office to mail it.

The Lord watches over your coming and going both now and forever. Psalm 121:8

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, ... or peril, or sword?

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35,38-39

Thanksgiving

I Hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving!  We had such a nice day.  It was like 60 degrees out!  So even though I thought we might have a white Thanksgiving, it turned out that we most definitely did not.  The day started just like any other day for us.  Feeding cow, doing chores, and putting up posts for a new wind break.  But at about 4:30 our family started coming.  We made it a Thanksgiving supper because our family had other plans for dinner.  The whole Engelhart family came down, and also 2 couple/neighbors came over.  There were quite a few of us but Mom and with Jolene's help put out an amazing Thanksgiving feast!

This last year we have been Blessed so abundantly.  The Lord has done amazing things in each one of our lives.   When you think of all the blessings He has sent your way remember always in all seasons to give thanks to God.

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.  1 Thessalonians 5:18

I think my favorite thing of the day was making more memories on the hay bales.  Right now our hay fence is, well, pretty much stuffed full of stacks of bales.  you can go all the way back to the road from the grain bins jumping bales.  When we were all younger and the cousins would come, the hay bales were a big thing.  We would go back and spend hours chasing each other of just jumping.  Now that all the cousins are getting older and getting married off there are only us younger ones that have the old interest in the hay bales.  Even though we haven't been back to play in too long yesterday was the day, and may I add we had a blast!!!  We took Daffy, Frisco, and Dakota ( 3 of our horses ) and rode double back to the bales.  The horses enjoyed it as much as we did I think because while they waited for us they got to eat some on the alfalfa bales.
After a few rounds of hide and go seek tag we were pretty tired from all the jumping and running so we resorted to just sitting and talking till the sun went down.  Such good memories!

Oh give thanks onto the Lord, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.   Psalm 136:1

Leave us a comment and let us know what your thankful for.

working cows and calves

This morning we woke up to hoar frost every where.  It was so pretty out and it was relatively warm too.  When us girls went out to get our horses it was so white out.  We took some pictures and there is even a special one of Panara on for Tabby.
We ran all the cows through the chute and poured them.  Then after dinner we ran the calves through and vaccinated and poured them also.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28

Even though we weren't dreaming of a white Thanksgiving,  It looks like we might have one.

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;  Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  Isaiah 1:18

Kid's club

Yesterday we had a kid's club meeting.  The Pathfinders raked leaves for community serves in the city park.  The Adventures did some book work, and the Eager Beavers learned about colors, crayon, and markers.

Jody and I have soooooooo much fun with all 7 of our Eager Beavers.  They are so full of energy all the time.

all the kids love playing outside all the time no matter how cold it is.

The older kids raked leaves for 1/2 their meeting and they put together some snap kits.

So whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do to the glory of God.  1 Corinthians 10:31
