our weekend

 Thursday Breighton and Tara came down for the weekend.  We had a really good time while they were here.  Being we still have some fall work to do yet they got to ride along and help bale, rake, and vertical till.  We did find some time on Friday though to ride horse a little.  Tara hadn't been on a horse for 10 years but she did a really good job riding. 

For church on Saturday we went over to Kulm for district meet.  We got to see Auntie Jolene too because she came down with 2 friends from Bismarck for a concert in the afternoon.  But in the afternoon/evening we went up to DAA ( Dakota Adventist Academy ) for their 2011 fall festival.  For like the last 5 years our Lehr Bluejays kid's club have had a both.  We sold Vegetablele soup,  apple pluchindies, and had a balloon dart game.

 We had lots of fun playing this game.  You put a balloon on a rubber band around your ankle and try to stomp on the other one's balloon to pop it.

 We had a fun night!

But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

Our first kid's club meeting

On Monday we were blessed when 18 kids came to our Lehr Bluejays kids club.  Kids came from Kulm, Ferdonia, Wishek, Lehr, and all around.  The Lord answeared our prayers and He is an amazing God.  We pray that as we meet with these kids 2 times a month till May that we show them God's love, and we help them know HIM better.

Funny Hat Social

Last Saturday nigh we had a church social.  We kind of hit 3 birds with one stone.  Because we honored at our party, our Pastor for pastor appreciation month,  Jehu and Deloris we welcomed into the town of Lehr, and for Patsy to get well soon.  To make our party a little more interesting we made it a funny hat party!  It was so funny to see what every one came up with for funny hats.

and on a side note sorry I have quite a few pictures but I wanted Tabby to see all kinds of pictures to explain some of the things we've been telling her about.

 When we were done with our lunch we played some group games.  Mom lead out in the games and organized and thought of most of them.  She did a really good job!  My Mom is just great like that for those of you who don't know that! :)

 We voted for some of the best hats.  Some where pretty amazing!  For anyone who wants to have a party, your theme should be a crazy hat party.  They are a lot of fun.

 One of the games was using like straws, tape, close pins, and other stuff to see who could get their golf ball the farthest off the table.  So that is what we are doing in a few of these pictures.

 unfortunately most of the people took their hats off by the time we did the games.  :(

 Steve, Paul, and Pastor had a unique idea how to get it the farthest off the table.

 Jody and Janae made a fun Jeopardy game.  It was fun to play in big groups.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encourage one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.  Hebrews 10:24-25

This morning we woke up to one of the most beautiful mornings God has ever made for us. 

 The fog was so pretty, the tops of the trees were just sticking out.  Sorry all these pictures are a lot alike but I couldn't decide which ones to put on.

 Sunds came to church in Lehr so they came down to our place for the afternoon and evening. After sun down we called some Friends and they came over and play games outside with us.  Thanks Sunds for coming down and helping us celebrate dad's birthday!

 Even though it was dad's birthday we went combining, when your a farmer and there's work to do it doesn't matter what day it is.
