Our weekend mega post

Friday was a long day.  We were up early and getting animals loaded and garden produce cleaned for the fair.  In the morning right away they judge the static exhibits.  Then in the afternoon they judge the animals.  This year we only had Chickens and Sheep so we weren't as busy.

Just in case any of you didn't know this already *my Mom is AMAZING!!!!*
Paul getting one of his drawings judged

Jody made this really cool "coo coo bird"

We are always really well supported at the fair.  Our church family and friends are always there for us.  We ate a picnic dinner before they started judging the animals.

first they do small animals

We took 8 of our chickens

Paul held a chicken for some friends of our so this isn't our bird
Jody letting our well wishers pet Chickie.  Jody's chicken 'Chickie' has gone to the fair every year
since she was a chick.

Paul also showed a duck for a friend
Janae and I ( Mindy )

Our county fair is pretty small so four the one sheep class it was just us for siblings
The judge this year was a really good one

It's fun to show the animals you work with so hard to get ready for the fair.  The only not fun part is getting them ready.
Janae got Champion sheep.  Jody got champion market wither.  and Janae got champion market ewe.

Paul took reserve Champion Jr. showmanship and I got Champion Senior showmanship.

Jody showed a goat for some friends
I showed a heifer for a friend too

Being I got Champion showmanship for the Seniors on sheep I was in the Round Robbin.  The Round Robbin is when all the champion showmanshipers show every animal at the fair and they get an over all score.
Here I'm showing a goat for the Round Robbin
There were only 4 of us and for the sheep round we used our lambs

I was excited I got Champion Showmanship for the Round Robbin.  I was excited because I have never got to even be in the Round Robbin before.

We got home and quick packed up the suburban, unloaded the animals and headed back up to Beaver Lake state park for our once a year annual Church camp out and Church service.  Being our church has quite a few old people in it there aren't usually any people who camp over night.  But for the last 4 years our family and Sunds camp out together.  This year we had some other friends join us.  It made it even more fun.
Quailes one of the friends that camped with us brought their canoe
We had lots of fun taking turns going out and then trying to come back on the waves

The rest of our church family and district came in the morning and we had church in one of the shelters.
It was nice because there was a little bit of a breeze and a few clouds so we weren't too hot.

It was lots of fun to visit and be with friends.

For where 2 or 3 are gathered together in My
name there I am among them.  Matthew 18:20
